A donation towards establishing a permanent Training Award is different to an ordinary donation in that the money donated is invested rather than immediately spent; the capital's annual yield is then applied to provide a training award every year. This means that your donation will continue to give year after year without end to the training of these medical experts for South Africa.
Donors who make these donations are able to name their award, which will be awarded to either a specialist or sub-specialist trainee.
