A specialist anaesthesiologist with a Masters degree in Pain Management. Prof Frohlich has been the clinical head of the anaesthetic department and pain management unit at Helen Joseph hospital from 2001 - 2018. She is the founder of the Wits teaching pain management unit at Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre where she has taught and practiced pain management since 2004. Prof Frohlich is a member of the International Association of the Study of Pain. She has attended and presented at international and local congresses and workshops.
