Training Information

This centre is accredited by Wits Faculty of Health Sciences to train specialists and sub-specialists in a variety of disciplines. Certain units are also accredited as satellite training units with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.

WDGMC is the only Private Hospital in South Africa that is accredited for specialist and sub-specialist training in this way. All doctors who work at the facility are required to go through a process of accreditation which allows them to be officially recognized as honorary, and in some cases joint appointees of the Wits Faculty of Health Sciences.
