After completing my internship and community service I worked in the United Kingdom for two years rotating through Oncology and Haematology - it was here that my passion for Oncology developed and led to my specialisation in Radiation Oncology at the University of Cape Town. I qualified in 2011. My main areas of interest are Paediatric Oncology, Gynae-oncology, Neuro-oncology, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Cancer, Breast Cancer and Lymphomas. I have been involved in academic medicine for the past five years through state service at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital with academic affiliation to Wits University. My main aim is to provide a holistic, caring, efficient and professional service to all my cancer patients and their families. I aim to do this by always providing highly individualised care and management and by keeping abreast of current international standards of care by attending national and international conferences, training courses and meeting and contributing to the development of the dynamic field of Oncology through clinical audits and research studies as well as participation in international trials. I hope to always play a positive role in the management and lives of all my patients.
