Ms Fourie qualified as a genetic counsellor after obtaining an MSc Genetic Counselling degree at the University of Cape Town and completing an internship through the University of Stellenbosch. She joined the NHLS/Wits Clinical Genetics tem in early 2018, where she works as a genetic counsellor in both state and private clinics.
