The journey through cancer treatment can sometimes be difficult, and I hope that our practice makes this experience a little more bearable. I started as a registrar in the Clinical and Radiation Oncology department at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital(CMJAH) in 2005 and graduated with a Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the College of Medicine of South Africa in 2008. I then spent 3 years as a consultant in the Clinical and Radiation Oncology department at CMJAH. In that time I participated in the treatment and clinical trials of many cancer types. In mid-2011 I went into private practice working from the Sandton Oncology and West Rand Oncology centres. Feeling that we need to design medical practices that harness the advances being made towards providing precision medicine within oncology, I left the practice in 2016 and began an MBA at London Business School - one of the world's leading business schools. I then started practice at Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre where we have a highly specialised oncology centre
